Medical education is a critical juncture in its evolution in the twenty-first century. From testing new instructional models aimed at modern learners in medical school classrooms, to innovative hands-on teaching at the bedside for clinical trainees, to dynamic and creative models of continuing medical education and lifelong learning, the profession is rapidly and creatively evolving. Our research in education has several areas of interest including:
- Incorporating clinical dermatology education for physicians across specialties and disciplines to enhance dermatologic care for patients
- Exploring models of pedagogy and resource use in the teaching of medicine to trainees, peers, and professionals
- Innovating across the medical education spectrum regarding methods of recruitment, and workforce initiatives
