Dedicated to the study of hair, nails, and skin – the body’s largest organ – dermatology is a fascinating discipline of medicine. Our research in dermatology has several areas of interest including:
- Clinical Epidemiology: learning more about common and uncommon dermatologic diseases – their causes, associations, treatments, and complications – through review of real patient data from clinical practice, including observations of unusual or uncommon skin diseases
- Cutaneous Oncology: examining diagnoses that are related to skin cancers, as well as skin conditions arising in patients with other forms of malignancy
- Practice and Policy: exploring what forces shape the delivery of dermatologic care
